Chad E. Davis
Chad Davis, Ph.D., advises innovators, investors, and established companies on intellectual property strategy, with a focus on patent counseling and portfolio development. He guides clients through all stages of the innovation and product lifecycle from early-stage invention and worldwide patent prosecution to due diligence, exclusivity planning, post-grant proceedings, and risk analysis, including validity and infringement assessments.
Chad’s background in chemistry combined with his deep legal knowledge help him to shape global patent strategies, working across a broad spectrum of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, drug delivery systems, polymers, proteins and antibodies, stem cell and diagnostic technologies, microfluidics, medical imaging, analytical chemistry, cosmetics, and optical systems.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Chad was a partner at an international law firm.
