Chloe Keating Leigh regularly advises employers with respect to their pre- and post-hire screening practices, including criminal background checks, credit checks, and drug screening. Chloe also assists employers in navigating state and federal privacy laws applicable to applicants, employees, and contingent staff.
Chloe has counseled clients in various industries, including the retail and pharmaceutical spaces, regarding their screening obligations under federal, state, and local laws, including requirements issued by federal and state regulatory agencies. Chloe’s litigation experience includes representing employers in administrative charges, single plaintiff lawsuits, and nationwide class actions initiated in both state and federal courts. Such representation includes matters filed pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Title VII, and state and local antidiscrimination laws.
