Daniel Mittelstein

Working on focused aspects of medical device and mechanical engineering, Daniel Mittelstein works with US and international clients to protect their patents across the globe. Daniel has experience in national filings in the US, as well as regional Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) filings in Europe, Great Britain, China, Japan, Korea, and other jurisdictions, for both utility applications and design applications. Daniel has worked in a variety of industries, including medical devices and implants, skincare systems, surgical tools, automotive, manufacturing, power generation systems, optics, wearable technology, and aerospace recovery systems.

Prior to Morgan Lewis, Daniel worked at an IP-focused law firm, and studied at the University of California Irvine School of Law, where he participated in the moot court program. As an undergraduate, Daniel received a B.S. in mechanical engineering, prepared a thesis regarding composite material manufacturing, and worked as a manufacturing engineer in a work-study program for aerospace manufacturing projects.
