Erin O’Gurek advises clients such as private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, strategic buyers and sellers, and public companies on a wide range of business law matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, majority and minority investments, divestitures, joint ventures, and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Erin was an associate in the Philadelphia office of another major international law firm and before beginning her career in law, Erin was a registered nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

- Platinum Equity in the $1.1 billion sale of its portfolio companies, Yak Access, LLC, Yak Mat, LLC and New South Access & Environmental Solutions, a leader in the North American matting industry, to United Rentals, Inc.
- Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation in its acquisition from Johnson & Johnson of Acclarent Inc.,a medical device company supporting ear, nose, and throat surgeons delivering minimally invasive technologies
- SV Health Investors, a Boston-based private investment firm focused on the healthcare industry, in its investment in Packaging Compliance Labs, a provider of packaging validation, engineering solutions and contract packaging to the medical device and pharmaceutical industries
- Buckeye Partners in the $1.1 billion sale to Gibson Energy Inc. of its South Texas Gateway Terminal, which was jointly owned with affiliates of Marathon Petroleum and Phillips 66 and is the second largest crude export facility in North America, operating out of a deep-water marine terminal in Ingleside, Texas
- Buckeye Partners in the $73.5 million sale of a heating oil terminal located in the Bronx, New York, to affiliates of Hartree Partners

- AcadiaSoft, a provider of automated uncleared margin processing and integrated risk and optimization services for the global derivatives community, in its sale to London Stock Exchange Group plc
- WE Soda Ltd in the $450 million sale of a 60% interest in Ciner Resources (NYSE: CINR), its North American soda ash business, to Sisecam and a $4 billion joint venture with Sisecam to develop the world’s largest integrated soda ash facility in the Green River Basin in Wyoming
- HealthCare Royalty Partners in its royalty interest agreement valued up to $65 million with Clearside Biomedical, Inc. for the acquisition of royalties and milestone payments due to Clearside from XIPERE® (triamcinolone acetonide injectable suspension) and certain SCS Microinjector license agreements
