• Obtained dismissal with prejudice of a putative class action against a major retailer alleging that its store branded dietary supplement label failed to disclose the presence of certain ingredients
• Obtained dismissal with prejudice of putative class action against camera distributor over allegations that the camera aperture was defective and prone to fail, producing dark images
• Trial counsel in three-week jury trial involving the defense of a financial institution against a $30 million conversion claim involving nanotechnology used in the defense and manufacturing industries. Defense verdict affirmed on appeal
• Obtained dismissal with prejudice of a putative nationwide class action against a leading automobile manufacturer asserting consumer fraud and warranty claims over allegations that an optional pre-collision braking feature that can automatically reduce collision speed in certain circumstances where the driver does not apply the brakes was ineffective
• For the same automobile manufacturer, obtained a dismissal with prejudice of a class action alleging that statements in its warranty booklets violated the New Jersey Lemon Law
• Represented one of the country’s largest technology companies and obtained summary judgment in a putative nationwide class action in federal court asserting California UCL and CLRA claims alleging that printers deprived users of toner
• Represented same technology company and obtained summary judgment in one putative nationwide class action in federal court asserting California UCL and CLRA claims alleging defect in notebook computers and a dismissal of another federal court putative class action asserting similar claims
• Represented same technology company and obtained voluntary dismissal by plaintiff of putative class action in California state court asserting California UCL and CLRA claims
• Represented same technology company and obtained summary judgment in putative nationwide class action in federal court asserting claims for breach of warranty and violation of California’s UCL over alleged defect in tablet computer
• Represented same technology company and obtained voluntary dismissal by plaintiff of putative class action in federal court alleging violations of the New York General Business Law over alleged data security vulnerability in company’s printers
• Represented a title insurance company and obtained summary judgment in putative class action in federal court asserting claims for violations of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and state consumer fraud law, and for breach of contract
• Obtained dismissal of action filed in federal court by former distributor against multinational pharmaceutical company alleging several contract, quasi-contract, and tort-based claims
• Representation of a prominent health insurer in statewide class action asserting multiple contract and tort-based claims over alleged violations of state law governing medical management of claims for payment
• Negotiated several precomplaint settlements on behalf of companies in the food and beverage industry involving claims of alleged false and misleading product labels
• Negotiated favorable precomplaint settlement on behalf of manufacturer of luxury watches in matter involving infringement on client’s trademark
• Counseled same client on risk management strategies in connection with termination of several distributorships and related issues
