Jake Hermansen represents registered investment companies and private investment funds on a variety of regulatory compliance and transactional matters. He advises clients on the structure and formation of private funds. Jake also counsels institutional investors regarding their alternative investments.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Jake served as an executive editor for the UC Irvine Law Review, interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Investment Management, and worked as an alternative investment oversight analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Jake is fluent in English and Russian.
