Jared Wilkerson is a litigator and trial attorney. A fluent Spanish speaker, he often participates in matters that cross into Latin America. Jared represents energy and technology clients in commercial litigation, class actions, trade secrets, and employment disputes, with additional experience in internal and government investigations, international arbitrations, personal injury matters, and real property contests involving eminent domain, trespass, and oil & gas title contests. As a volunteer prosecutor, Jared first-chaired numerous full jury trials to verdict, with a 100% success rate.
As second chair, won full defense judgment for oil & gas services provider after trial in federal court, denying plaintiff’s attempt to invalidate client’s protected marks.
As second chair, won international arbitration award on behalf of oil & gas services provider in a contract dispute against joint venturer.
As second chair, won defense award in arbitration on behalf of medical professionals sued for their alleged role in fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, and breach of contract.
As second chair, obtained favorable award for respondent in arbitration regarding alleged trespass, fraud, and breach of contract.
Represented Houston-based energy company in eight-day trial in the Southern District of New York.
Represented plaintiff/condemnor in special commissioners’ hearing, after which commissioners awarded defendant/condemnee $23 million less than defendant sought.
Prepared winning summary judgment brief in $12 million oil & gas dispute.
Defended oilfield services company in personal injury lawsuits in Texas, Wyoming and North Dakota.
Successfully represented oilfield services company in various employment discrimination disputes.
Provided briefing and expert collaboration in nine-figure international energy arbitration.
Prepared and prosecuted, to settlement, civil RICO complaint in federal court.
Helped conduct internal investigation of major South American sports organization. Assisted in presentation of findings to the US Department of Justice.
