Jason M. Ware
Jason M. Ware leverages legal experience and technological knowledge to meet clients’ eDiscovery needs. He advises clients and case teams across the full spectrum of electronic discovery, including collection, search term evaluation, data analysis, document review strategizing and workflow management, production, and privilege logging. Jason’s primary focus is on government subpoenas and investigations, toxic torts, data breach, product liability, and lease and contract review and clause capture and analysis. He has handled eDiscovery reviews for more than a decade in various settings.
Jason manages the discovery process from start to finish, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. He manages matters across all dispositions, from internal investigations to wide-ranging multidistrict litigations. Jason has been a certified Relativity Review Management Specialist since 2020 and a certified Reveal Data Analyst since 2023. Jason is also a Legal Lean Sigma Yellow Belt.
- Represented major pharmaceutical benefit manager as discovery counsel for large-scale opioids litigation, including multidistrict litigation; collaborated with merits counsel for several years to manage all review, redaction, production, and privilege log requirements
- Assisted pharmaceutical biotechnology company in review of materials in response to US Department of Justice grand jury subpoena, analyzing search terms and managing review, production, and privilege log
- Represented investment advisor in its response to US Department of Justice, Antitrust Division grand jury subpoena; performed search term analysis and managed document review as well as extensive privilege review
- Assisted global pharmaceutical solutions organization in its response to a data breach by performing data analysis, reviewing several million records, identifying exfiltration risks, and helping prepare the client for notifications
- Represented national agriculture retailer in a contract dispute; managed review, including using a new chat review tool for extensive chats in collection; and performed production and privilege log
- Assisted major investment banking company in an internal review of policies for compliance with regulatory requirements; utilized AI-powered contract tool to collect and assess contract clauses across various contracts and managed their review
