Jeff Norcross has more than a decade of experience focusing on eDiscovery. His practice includes antitrust approvals, mergers and acquisitions, products liability litigation, pharmaceutical matters, and government investigations. Jeff advises on legal holds and device preservation, assists clients with the collection of a variety of data types, and partners with clients to perform cost-effective document reviews and productions in formats agreeable to government investigators or opposing parties.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Jeff practiced as a civil litigator and clerked for the Honorable Clyde W. Waite.
- Advised a multinational conglomerate on the reorganization and streamlining of its legal hold and device preservation practices
- Represented a global medical device manufacturer in a multidistrict class action, government investigation, and ancillary litigations, coordinating discovery and ensuring coordinated production of documents across the multiple matters
- Counseled a pharmaceutical company on the collection, review, and production of documents across assorted products in products liability, multidistrict litigation, and government investigations matters
- Coordinated the collection and review of documents in connection with the US Department of Justice approval of a $6 billion energy company sale
- Coordinated the collection and review of documents with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in a $16 billion acquisition of a financial services technology provider
- Coordinated the collection and discovery for the transfer of broadcast television stations in connection with a company acquisition
- Coordinated the discovery and review to obtain antitrust approval for a hospital system’s acquisition of additional hospital assets following compliance with a second request issued by the FTC
