Katherine Monks
Katherine H. Monks assists clients in a wide range of areas, including business and corporate disputes, white collar defense, and appellate litigation. Katie has experience representing clients across industries in diverse areas—from health insurance and pharmaceutical and medical device companies to the technology, financial services, food services, and manufacturing sectors. Katie has counseled clients through all aspects and stages of litigation. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Katie clerked for Judge Kent Jordan of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge David Novak of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
While in law school, Katie served as senior en banc editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, graduated Order of the Coif, and was a Best Brief Finalist in the 2021 Bass, Berry & Sims Moot Court Competition. During law school, she interned at the US Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Trading and Markets. Prior to that, Katie worked in the broker dealer arm of a financial tech startup.
