Konstantin Kochetkov

Konstantin Kochetkov focuses his practice on banking and finance law and advises on prepayment finance, project finance, sovereign debt, and infrastructure transactions. He has experience representing both lenders and borrowers, including major metals and mining groups, in various international financing transactions. Konstantin has acted on a wide range of projects involving international finance institutions. He also regularly advises clients on complex sanctions and regulatory issues.

Konstantin is eligible to practice in England and Wales and the Russian Federation. He speaks native Russian and is fluent in English.

  • Acted for a syndicate of banks on several prepayment facilities to an Austrian oil trader, with the total value exceeding $5 billion
  • Acted for a major bank on an up to $735 million project financing for the construction of a plant for processing polymetallic ores
  • Acted for Natixis on a $300 million syndicated pre-export facility to a leading Kazakhstan copper producer
  • Acted for a UAE state-owned conglomerate on a multibillion-dollar syndicated facility from one of the largest state-owned banks in the United Arab Emirates
  • Acted for an international real estate developer on the establishment of its presence in the United Arab Emirates and, in particular, the construction of a flagship residential project in Dubai Internet City, including financing and real estate development arrangements
  • Acted for Vitol Asia Pte Ltd. in connection with a $190 million prepayment financing provided to a large Indian oil producer against the deliveries of high-speed diesel
  • Acted for an international trader in connection with several prepayment facilities to an Indian refinery
