Lauren Bidwell concentrates her practice on advising investment managers and financial institutions on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters. She primarily counsels clients on the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and its associated regulations, as well as US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) examinations and the preparation of policies and procedures. Lauren maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on veterans’ benefits. While in law school, Lauren interned at the SEC in the Division of Corporation Finance and at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the Division of Enforcement.
