Mark Geday has more than 20 years of experience employing a range of innovative and market-defining transactions, including complex private and public matters involving parties with differing needs and goals, for clients spanning all areas of the private equity and asset management sector. Mark advises on myriad aspects of company law including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, joint ventures, fundraisings and strategic stakes.

Mark leverages his experience across the asset management sector to provide key insight to his clients, advising on solutions that allow them to maintain and achieve their key objectives.
Mark has been a member of the Law Society Company Law Committee, and chaired its subcommittee on private equity funds.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mark was the head of the London office private equity practice of another global law firm; he also spent three years working in that firm’s Moscow office. In addition, he previously acted as the director of legal services and company secretary for an FTSE 100 company.
