Matthew P. Deng advises intellectual property clients on a range of patent matters, including patent drafting, patent prosecution, and post-grant strategy. His practice spans diverse technologies, including medical devices, consumer electronics, and automotives and heavy machinery. His most recent engagements have focused on heart valve replacement, semiconductor fabrication, and biomedical sensors.

Matthew practiced as a patent agent before studying at UCLA Law, where he was a recipient of the Masin Family Academic Gold Award and served as managing editor on the Journal of Law and Technology.
