Phyu-Sin-Lin Than concentrates her practice in the private funds and alternative investment funds industries. She advises clients on the formation, fundraising and operation of private funds across a variety of asset classes, including private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, impact investments, and other environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing. Phyu-Sin assists institutional investors in connection with the structuring and terms of their investments in private investment funds and other alternative investment products. She also assists clients with general corporate matters.
Phyu-Sin is a member of the firm’s Asian American/Asian Lawyer Network and has an active pro bono practice focusing on asylum cases. While in law school, Phyu-Sin clerked at the US Department of Commerce in the Commercial Law Development Program and was the recipient of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association Summer Fellowship.
