Ryan Nash’s practice focuses on investment funds and advising both sponsors on fund formation and investors on their fund and similar investments. Ryan advises on a wide scope of fund-related work across various asset classes, including private equity, venture, credit and real estate, and products, including open- and closed-ended funds, managed accounts, joint venture arrangements, bespoke investment structures, and team carry and co-investment arrangements. Ryan advises on the full spectrum of formation from structuring, marketing, regulatory matters, fund documentation, to operational matters.
In connection with his investor representation practice, Ryan regularly advises Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) based sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and other institutional investors on a variety of investment products.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ryan worked in the investment funds team of a leading firm in London and, before that, in the corporate and funds practices of a leading Australian law firm.
