Shajie Qu focuses her practice on private investment funds, advising fund sponsors and investment advisors on the organization and operation of a wide spectrum of institutional investment products including private equity and venture capital funds, real estate funds, and hedge funds. She also represents institutional investors in connection with investments in private investment funds. She speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Shajie was with an international law firm in its Hong Kong office, where she concentrated her practice on the formation and ongoing representation of Asia-focused private investment funds, hedge funds, and funds of funds. Before that, she worked at a US law firm in its Shanghai office focusing on private investment funds practice.
