Vincent C. Papa
Vincent C. Papa represents US and international clients in complex, high-stakes antitrust lawsuits. He also counsels businesses on antitrust and litigation risks and advises on antitrust training and compliance programs. Vincent represents companies across a broad range of industries, with particular focus in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Vincent served as law clerk to US District Judge Peter Sheridan of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Vincent has experience handling antitrust litigation from inception through trial and appeal. His litigation practice primarily involves defending pharmaceutical companies, health systems, and insurers against allegations of collusion, monopolization, exclusive dealing, tying, price-fixing, and violations of state antitrust, consumer protection, and business tort laws.
Recently, Vincent served as a key member of a trial team that defended an international life sciences company against novel antitrust claims allegedly arising from the company’s settlement of patent litigation. In addition, Vincent has experience arguing motions in federal court; examining witnesses in evidentiary hearings; briefing numerous pretrial motions, including motions to dismiss, for summary judgment, and opposition to class certification; and taking and defending fact and expert depositions.
