VP dePillis represents clients in complex litigation, including toxic tort, product liability, liquor liability, insurance coverage, construction, contract and commercial, professional malpractice, and maritime matters. VP also acts as national counsel for a Fortune 200 international provider of managed services, managing outside counsel in a large portfolio of tort and insurance litigation, with a special emphasis on significant and catastrophic exposures.
VP collaborates with clients to achieve effective claims resolution and provides advice and support to all levels of company management on insurance coverage and contractual disputes. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, he served as assistant general counsel at Aramark for almost 12 years. At Aramark, he oversaw the company’s non-employment civil litigation throughout the United States and Canada, ranging from personal injury to complex commercial litigation. Additionally, he provided support to the Corporate Risk Management team, and handled alcohol compliance and litigation duties. Before Aramark, VP was an active trial lawyer, engaged in the representation of clients in in complex litigation, including toxic tort, product liability, liquor liability, insurance coverage, medical malpractice, construction, bankruptcy, contract and commercial, and maritime.
