Samuel D. Thomas
Samuel D. Thomas represents clients in a variety of media, commercial, and securities litigation matters. Sam’s commercial litigation practice includes representing public and private companies and financial institutions in state and federal court, as well as domestic and international arbitration. These matters include contract, business tort, and statutory unfair business practice disputes.
Sam’s media practice focuses on representing film, print, and news media companies in disputes involving the First Amendment, access to government information, defamation, sealed court records, and intellectual property.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Sam served as a law clerk at the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Boston College Law School and is a contributing author to the Massachusetts Tort Law Manual.
