The publication’s Go To Lawyers program recognizes experienced lawyers with demonstrated success in their fields who bring creative thinking to client challenges and are sought out by other legal professionals for their expertise and accomplishments.
Steve focuses his intellectual property practice on patent counseling, procurement, and licensing in the life sciences industry. He represents clients of all sizes, with a particular focus on emerging biotech companies, helping them develop US and international intellectual property rights aligned with their business objectives. He works closely with scientific personnel to identify patenting opportunities and competitive advantages and assists clients in partnering and investment transactions.
A Fulbright Fellow, Steve earned his doctorate from Yale University’s Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, and then his J.D. from Boston College Law School. He currently serves as co-chair of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council’s Entrepreneur University.
