JASON CONN

Corporate Vice President, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, and Senior Deputy General Counsel, Comcast

“My time at Morgan Lewis was instrumental in shaping my career. Even all these years later, I still find myself thinking back to lessons I learned from my Morgan Lewis mentors and colleagues. The rigorous training and exposure to complex investigations and litigation cases at Morgan Lewis honed my analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, working with a varied group of clients and colleagues taught me the importance of collaboration and adaptability. This has served me well at Comcast, given the company’s varied set of businesses and the need to work with various stakeholders to achieve compliance goals. Finally, I am incredibly grateful for the network and connections I developed during my tenure at Morgan Lewis—my colleagues from my years at Morgan Lewis have remained personal friends and professional sounding boards.”

NICK HOBSON

Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel - Legal Optimization and Global Head of Immigration, Endeavor

“Always be curious. Not just in areas of the law—there’s so much going on in areas that are tangential to the law, like in tech or AI, for example. We’re constantly asked about how we can use tech and AI more. Always be thinking about your network and making connections. Expand your network and get to know people. There were a number of people who I worked with at my first firm who went in-house and ended up being my clients when I was at Morgan Lewis. They were friends and were also really helpful for finding out what was happening in their various industries. Be mindful of developing a network at a very early stage. It doesn’t just have to be made up of lawyers—it can be people you worked with in accounts or HR. You just don’t know where the future is going and how you’ll cross paths.”
