Risk and Corporate Governance - What Every Board Needs to Know

Wednesday, March 24, 2010
08:00 AM - 09:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time

Morgan Lewis and AON invite you to attend "Risk and Corporate Governance - What Every Board Needs to Know."

The SEC recently adopted rules requiring disclosure of the extent of a board’s role in risk oversight and possible disclosure about compensation policies and practices that present material risks to a public company.

These initiatives have increased the importance of understanding enterprise risk management (ERM) and the governance of risk at the board level. This program will focus on risk management issues both from the legal and board perspective.

Please join panelists from Morgan Lewis and AON as they discuss:

  • Key attributes of good corporate governance
  • New SEC disclosure requirements relating to risk
  • Board members’ risk-related roles and responsibilities
  • Board members’ risk-related liabilities
