Tuesday, April 10, 2018
08:00 AM - 10:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time

Join us for a conversation with Ken Alex, Governor Brown’s senior policy advisor on climate change issues and the architect of the Under2 MOU.

Over the past three years, 205 subnational governmental entities from 43 countries across six continents have committed to combating climate change through individual and collective actions by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strive to keep global warming to less than a 2º C increase (the Under2 MOU). Mr. Alex will share his thoughts on how Governor Brown will spend his last months in office on climate change with the Under2 Coalition, including further actions as the Trump Administration withdraws from the Paris Agreement. Will they continue following the election of a new governor later this year? Mr. Alex will share these and other insights about the past 7-plus years in office.
