Environmental partner Geri Edens will be speaking about minimizing litigation risk for your offshore wind project on the “Ensuring Your COP Meets Regulatory Requirements & Avoids Legal Challenges” panel at the AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER Conference on Wednesday, October 17th, at 2:50pm ET. The panel will provide an overview of the various avenues for potential lawsuits and provide strategies for litigation avoidance. The panel will also recap the issues, outcomes, and lessons learned from the two offshore wind lawsuits thus far (Cape Wind and Fisheries Survival Fund) and other analogous energy infrastructure litigation.
