ABA 2022 Public Contract Law Annual Meeting

Litigation partner Meredith Auten will speak at the American Bar Association’s 2022 Public Contract Law Annual Meeting in Chicago. The conference will include several programs that provide education on developing legal issues and an opportunity to network with key stakeholders in the public contract community.

Meredith’s panel, “What’s in the Data? Data Analytics in Health Care False Claims Act Cases,” will take place on Thursday, August 4, from 2:00–3:30 pm. It will include perspectives from the US Attorney’s Office, law firms, and consultants and will cover topics such as:

• Data analytic trends in healthcare False Claims Act (FCA) cases
• Effectiveness of data analytics in healthcare FCA cases
• Recent FCA case examples involving data analytics
• What companies should be aware of and how they can utilize their own data analytics in internal audits, compliance practices, and in defense of any FCA claims brought against them
