Partner Emily Renshaw spoke at SIFMA's Compliance & Legal (C&L) 2024 Regional Seminar: St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri, discussing issues litigation and arbitration, regulatory developments and trends, and current issues in the financial industry.
Emily spoke on the panel What the Heck is Happening? Recent Regulatory Developments” alongside professionals from Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. The panel covered topics from changes in foreign sanctions policy and the evolution of off-channel communication programs to the rise in conflicting state regulations on environment, social, and governance ESG, privacy and standards of care.
The C&L Regional Seminar series gathers compliance and legal professionals from the financial services sector to exchange ideas, and strategies and provide guidance on ways to gain a competitive advantage in the increasingly complex, evolving regulatory and compliance arenas.
