22nd Wu Ta-You Foundation Science Camp

Partner Bill Kissinger will participate as a Distinguished Speaker at the Wu Ta-You Foundation’s 2026 Science Camp. His presentation, California’s 100% Renewable and Zero Carbon Electric Future by 2045: California Dreaming or Achieving?, will include the history of California’s movement toward decarbonizing the grid, successes thus far, solutions found, and challenges in achieving 100% renewable carbon-free retail electricity by 2045. The presentation will also address how these trends may have broader application beyond California’s borders.

The Wu Ta-You Foundation was established in commemoration of Dr. Ta-You Wu, a renowned theoretical physicist and former president of Academia Sinica. The foundation continues his lifelong commitment to advancing research in physics and life sciences as well as his dedication to educating the next generation. The science camp is one of the foundation’s flagship programs.
