NAGDCA 2026 Annual Conference

Partners Marla J. Kreindler and Marcus Wu and of counsel Claire E. Bouffard will speak at the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators’ 2026 Annual Conference. The annual conference brings together public sector defined contribution plan sponsors and industry professionals to share ideas, build relationships, and explore strategies for improving retirement outcomes.

Marcus and Claire will join Sandy Blair of California Savings Plus for the Fundamentals of Public Sector DC Plans pre-conference workshop. The interactive session will provide a practical foundation in governmental defined contribution plans, including plan design, fiduciary responsibilities, investments, governance, and service-provider relationships. Through discussion and guided examples, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how these elements work together to support participant outcomes.

Marla will join Christopher Ceder of Goldman Sachs, David Levine of Groom Law Group, and Steve Ulian of Apollo for the Private Investments in DC Plans: Progress, Perspectives, and Practical Realities panel. The session will examine the growing interest in private investments within defined contribution plans and the practical considerations involved in evaluating private market exposure. Panelists will discuss governance, due diligence, implementation structures, communication challenges, and the factors plan sponsors should consider when determining whether private investments are appropriate for their plans.
