TEI-SJSU High Tech Tax Institute

Morgan Lewis is proud to sponsor the upcoming 42nd Annual TEI-SJSU High Tech Tax Institute. Presented by San Jose State University in partnership with Tax Executives Institute, the annual two-day conference brings together tax professional from law and accounting firms, industry, government, and academia to discuss current and emerging tax issues affecting high technology companies.

Tax partners Sarah-Jane Morin and William Gorrod will speak at the institute on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. From 10:50–11:00 am, Sarah-Jane will join the panel M&A: Technology Strategies, Data Centers, and More, discussing recent guidance and strategies related to significant technology M&A transactions and M&A practices. Later that day, from 4:30–5:30 pm, William will participate in the Domestic and Multistate Tax Update, covering key developments from the past year relevant to technology companies.

The program features experienced practitioners and government representatives addressing significant tax developments and practical considerations for corporate tax professionals and their advisors.
