Implications of the New Agency Workers Regulations

September 15, 2011

The Agency Workers Regulations 2010 come into effect on 1 October 2011. Under the new regulations, agency workers must have increased rights from the outset of their recruitment and after 12 weeks in the role. Greater communication will also be required between hirer, agency, and worker.

Please join Morgan Lewis for a one-hour webinar as we discuss the main changes and new responsibilities of this legislation, including how the Agency Workers Regulations will impact the following:

  • Individuals who work as temporary agency workers
  • Individuals or companies (private, public, and third sector (e.g., charities, social enterprises)) involved in
the supply of temporary agency workers, either directly or indirectly, to work temporarily for and under the direction and supervision of a hirer
  • Hirers (private, public, and third sector)
