In an article published by the Global Competition Review, partner Leonidas Theodosiou commented on a final order issued under the United Kingdom’s National Security and Investment Act (NSIA) to block a proposed joint venture.
Leonidas noted that the order’s scope underscores the UK government’s focus on preventing intellectual property leakage in addition to more formal transfers. “That aligns with NSIA’s reach over asset control, not only shareholdings,” he said.
