BOSTON, July 1, 2021: Morgan Lewis is representing Cogeco Communications Inc. and its subsidiary, Atlantic Broadband, in a definitive agreement with WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone. Under the terms of the agreement, Atlantic will purchase all of WOW’s broadband systems located in Ohio serving approximately 196,000 internet, 61,000 video, and 35,000 telephone customers. The Ohio broadband systems will be purchased for approximately $1.1 billion.
Cogeco is an international communications corporation and the eighth-largest cable operator in North America. Atlantic is the eighth-largest cable operator in the United States providing its residential and business customers with internet, video, and telephone services in 11 states.
Morgan Lewis previously advised Atlantic in the company’s definitive agreement to purchase Thames Valley Communications.
