Morgan Lewis Hires Colleen Nihill as Chief Administrative Officer

PHILADELPHIA, March 10, 2016: Colleen Nihill has joined Morgan Lewis as chief administrative officer (CAO), resident in the Philadelphia office. She previously led the office services and operations and business of law teams of another major law firm.

In her new role with Morgan Lewis, Ms. Nihill will lead the firm’s practice group business professionals, the pricing and project management department, the office administrative team, and the paralegal management function.

Recognized as a strong CAO in the legal services profession, Ms. Nihill has deep experience in the management of issues relating to pricing, profitability, project management, and business operations. Her expertise in these areas is illustrated by two consecutive commendations for pricing and project management from Financial Times.

Ms. Nihill has also been a contributing author featured in the Ark Group's 2011 book “Project Management for Lawyers: Developing Best Practices in Legal Project Management,” Ark Group’s 2012 book “Buying Legal: Procurement Insights and Practice,” and Buying Legal's 2015 “Legal Procurement Handbook.” She also was featured last year in “Of Counsel Management Report: A Hiring Trend on the Rise.”

For the last three years, Ms. Nihill has helped develop and deliver a business of law operations module at her alma matter, Villanova University School of Law.
