MOSCOW and LONDON, February 7, 2017: Morgan Lewis has advised Sberbank (Switzerland) AG on the up to $60 million prepayment for RUSAL Marketing GmbH, Switzerland, a member of RUSAL Group, one of the world’s major producers of alumina. The transaction was structured as an advance payment under the sale contract between RUSAL Marketing GmbH and Sberbank (Switzerland) AG. The prepayment is to be discharged by deliveries under the sale contract over a period of one year.
