Wednesday, October 10, 2018

The American College of Trial Lawyers inducted Morgan Lewis partner Michael L. Banks as a Fellow during its annual meeting in New Orleans.

The American College of Trial Lawyers, which seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice, is an invitation-only fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds from the United States and Canada. The College investigates each nominee for admission and selects only those who have demonstrated the very highest standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, integrity, professionalism and collegiality.

Mr. Banks litigates employment, benefits, commercial, professional liability, intellectual property, and personal injury issues in US state and federal courts. He has tried more than 35 cases—including class, collective, and multiplaintiff actions—for some of the firm’s largest clients, tallying a broad array of victories in courts and arbitrations around the United States. He also has litigated and won numerous injunction cases in trade secret and noncompetition disputes, including hotly contested matters against some of the largest and most recognized law firms.
