PRINCETON, August 24, 2020: Morgan Lewis partner Michelle Silverman has been named a New Jersey Trailblazer for 2020 by the New Jersey Law Journal. The annual feature highlights individuals who have made significant marks on their practice. Michelle, the head of the firm’s Employment Counseling Taskforce, has been recognized for her sense of empathy when dealing with clients, taking the time to “walk in workers’ shoes.”
Michelle counsels and defends clients facing single-plaintiff and systemic employment discrimination claims in US state, federal, and appellate courts. As leader of the Employment Counseling Taskforce, Michelle and the team work regularly with employers to proactively develop effective and compliant anti-harassment programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, disability accommodation processes, and leave management programs.
