NYSE Plans Would Speed Launch of Portfolio-Shielding ETFs, Ignites

Morgan Lewis partner John McGuire spoke with Ignites for an article about the New York Stock Exchange’s (NYSE’s) proposal to create generic listing standards for nontransparent ETFs. In the article, he discussed the similar listing process for transparent active ETF managers. “It took years and years for actively managed ETFs to get generic listing standards,” said John in the article, adding that it is a bit surprising that the NYSE has moved to seek exemptive relief this quickly.
