Morgan Lewis senior director Tim Lynch discussed the possibility of including a union-related pension funding issue in the final draft of the American Rescue Plan with Law360. "A provision has to have a budgetary impact to be included in a reconciliation bill. You can't include, say, something like social policy," explained Tim. He also noted that the measure has a strong chance of passing due to "the overwhelming support among the Democratic caucus for addressing the multiemployer plan issue."
