LOS ANGELES, March 29, 2021: Morgan Lewis partners Steven Miller and Marshall Stoddard have been recognized as Banking and Finance Visionaries by the Los Angeles Times in the inaugural issue of its Banking and Finance Magazine. The honor recognizes individuals who have made an impact on the banking and finance sectors in the last 24 months. Steven and Marshall were selected for their practices, leadership, and community service.
Steven advises equity sponsors and their portfolio companies as well as strategic buyers and borrowers in connection with the debt component of middle-market leveraged acquisitions, in addition to a wide variety of public and private commercial lending transactions, including syndicated credit facilities; cash-flow and asset-based loans; multiple-lien, mezzanine, and other subordinated credits; recapitalizations; restructurings; and workout-related matters. Steven is a founding member of the firm’s original Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Task Force and the CARES Act Loan Program Task Force.
Marshall represents banks and other financial institutions in a variety of debt transactions in the United States and globally, including syndicated, club, and bilateral transactions. These transactions span across a large variety of economic sectors including technology, entertainment, government contracting, media, transportation, agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and others. Marshall is a regular contributor to the Secured Finance Network, the leading association of asset-based lenders, factoring firms, and other secured finance constituents.
