WASHINGTON, DC, March 25, 2021: Morgan Lewis has been recognized as a global US International Trade Commission (ITC) leader in the 2021 ITC Intelligence Report, the recently released ranking of the law firms, lawyers, and companies involved in Section 337 ITC cases by analytics-based intellectual property company Patexia. The rankings are based on ITC case filing activity and performance during the last six years.
Morgan Lewis’s ITC team was ranked among the Top 10 Most Active Law Firms for Representing Respondents, the Top 25 Most Active Law Firms Representing Complainants, and the Top 25 Most Active Law Firms Overall (Complainants and Respondents)—all out of 100 law firms ranked. The team also improved its rankings in the Best Performing Law Firms Representing Respondents and Best Performing Law Firms Overall (Representing Complainants and Respondents) categories.
Additionally, the team’s members, including partner Eric Namrow, who leads the firm’s ITC practice, and associates Riccardo Macchiaroli and Stephanie Roberts were recognized in several Top 100 Most Active ITC Attorneys categories. Of note, Eric, Riccardo, and Stephanie were all ranked among the top 30 out of the Top 100 Most Active ITC Attorneys Representing Respondents.
To determine its rankings, Patexia tracked the 335 ITC Section 337 cases filed from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2020. Patexia then evaluated the activity of more than 5,600 lawyers, nearly 400 law firms, and more than 1,700 companies in that time period.
