PHILADELPHIA, April 7, 2021: Morgan Lewis partner Kristin Hadgis has been named a 2021 Distinguished Advocate for Children honoree by the Support Center for Child Advocates for her efforts to further the organization’s mission.
Child Advocates supports victims of child abuse and neglect with the goal of securing safety, justice, well-being, and a permanent, nurturing environment for every child. In the years since Morgan Lewis began partnering with Child Advocates, Kristin has represented more than 20 children in dependency proceedings through her pro bono practice.
In her day-to-day practice, Kristin counsels and defends retail and other consumer-facing companies in matters relating to privacy and cybersecurity, class actions, Attorney General investigations and enforcement actions, the California Consumer Privacy Act, consumer protection laws, retail operations, loyalty and gift card programs, and commercial disputes.
Kristin will be recognized by Child Advocates during a virtual award ceremony on April 28.
