Partner Sandra Moser, a former fraud section chief at the US Department of Justice (DOJ), spoke to Bloomberg Law about the challenges faced by those wanting to get selected by the DOJ for corporate monitorship positions—particularly for women and minority candidates. And because the selection process isn’t public, “generally you don’t get to call them up and say, ‘I’d like to be considered,’” Sandra said. “You have to have inside information, and then put yourself out there and call up.”
