In People v. Purdue Pharma L.P. et al., the firm earned a complete victory in defending Teva Pharmaceuticals and four affiliates from public nuisance, false advertising, and unfair competition claims made by three California counties and the city of Oakland on behalf of the People of the State of California.
In the profile, Collie is quoted as saying that Judge Peter J. Wilson’s opinion, “Serves as an important marker in this national litigation and recognizes that evidence, not assumptions, must be the guide in assessing liability for the cause of this complex health issue.”
