A Morgan Lewis team led by partners Jack Dodds and Clay Everett secured a Litigation Daily Litigators of the Week recognition for its representation of DaVita in the first criminal no-poach jury trial in the United States. The team scored an across-the-board acquittal against federal prosecutors who had brought three conspiracy charges apiece against DaVita and its former CEO, claiming that nonsolicitation agreements with competitors headed by DaVita alumni amounted to criminal violations of the Sherman Act.
The Morgan Lewis team also included associates Erica Jaffe, Bradie Williams, Al Hassani, Mike Hacker, and Elizabeth Gary.
