Partner Brent Hawkins was a guest on Hsu Untied. During the interview, Brent noted how his background in engineering inspired a career shift to intellectual property law and how he uses that background to assist clients.
“I think where my engineering background has helped me the most in the practice is the ability to walk into the discussion without being intimidated and then to take the complex ideas and translate it to a person who maybe is less adept at that particular technology or any technology at all and translate it to them in a way that’s understandable, bite-sized, makes more real-world sense,” Brent said.
