Partner Scott Milner’s remarks on Relativity's “2022 Data Discovery Legal Year in Review” webinar about the developments panelists think will have the biggest impact on data law in the years ahead were included in a Legaltech News article. Scott noted matters involving electronically stored information (ESI) protocols show the importance of language involving said protocols and agreements.
“We often negotiate ESI protocols early on in a case without all the details or information, so be sure to consider what you’ve negotiated,” Scott said.
“Consider what should be negotiated at what time and whether you supplement that as you learn information, so that you’re not putting yourself into a box that later impacts your ability to advocate on behalf of your clients.”
