NEW YORK, January 4, 2023: Morgan Lewis advised Unical Aviation Inc., a portfolio company of Platinum Equity, in the acquisition of substantially all the iAero Thrust LLC assets along with FTAI Aviation Ltd.
Unical Aviation is an aftermarket parts and aviation solutions provider serving over 2,100 customers in 91 countries. FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on CFM56 engines. iAero is an integrated full-service aviation engine maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) and test provider business dedicated to the CFM56 series engine.
