The National Law Journal reported on the arrival of partner Christine Schleppegrell as one of several former US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) veterans who have joined Morgan Lewis since the start of 2022.
Former branch chief of the Division of Investment Management, Christine joined the firm’s Washington, DC office as a partner in the investment management practice.
Christine’s arrival is preceded by Frederick L. Block, former supervisory trial counsel in the Division of Enforcement who arrived in January 2023; Kelly L. Gibson, former acting deputy director of the Division of Enforcement and leader of the Division’s Climate and Environmental, Social, and Governance Task Force who arrived in February 2022; and Erin E. Martin, who previously served as legal branch chief in the Division of Corporation Finance and arrived in January 2022.
