Morgan Lewis Foundation Awards 15 Diversity Scholarships for 2023

July 10, 2023

WASHINGTON, July 10, 2023: The Morgan Lewis Foundation has awarded its 2023 Diversity Scholarships to 15 students from nine law schools in the United States. With this latest class of scholars, the Morgan Lewis Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) organization, has awarded nearly $2.5 million in 82 scholarships to promising law students since its founding in 2014.

“Creating a more inclusive legal community starts with a diverse pool of incoming lawyers,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “We should do all we can to set up our industry’s rising stars for success, which is why the Morgan Lewis Foundation has steadily increased its number of scholarship awards. Devoting resources to this talented group of legal scholars will help them lead the next generation.”

The scholarships are not tied to employment at Morgan Lewis because it is the Morgan Lewis Foundation’s mission to increase diversity throughout the entire legal profession.
